Dear Colleagues and Esteemed
Guests,
On behalf of the Taiwan
Laryngological Association, it
is my great honor and privilege
to welcome you to the annual
meeting of Taiwan Laryngological
Association (Taiwan Autumn
Laryngology Conference, TALC
2025), held in the vibrant city
of Kaohsiung. This year’s
meeting, under the capable
leadership of our Congress
Chairman, Dr. Chih-Chun Wang,
promises to be a remarkable
gathering of minds dedicated to
advancing the field of
laryngology.
We are particularly delighted to
host three distinguished
international speakers from
Japan, Korea, and Singapore,
whose expertise and insights
will undoubtedly enrich our
discussions and broaden our
perspectives. In addition to
these esteemed guests, we are
excited to welcome many leading
domestic experts who will share
their insights and experiences
across a diverse range of
topics. Their participation
underscores the spirit of
collaboration and knowledge
exchange that lies at the heart

From TALC 2025 Conference
President:
Dear esteemed seniors,
colleagues, and distinguished
experts,
Welcome to the 2025 3rd Taiwan
Autumn Laryngology Conference.
We are truly honored to gather
here in Kaohsiung, where the
warmth of the southern sun and
sea breeze meets the vibrant
energy of academic exchange.
This annual event brings
together leading experts from
Taiwan and around the world to
share knowledge, foster
innovation, and inspire
collaboration.
The theme of this year’s
conference is “Know Thyself.”
Originating from the Temple of
Apollo at Delphi in ancient
Greece, this timeless phrase
urges us to engage in deep
self-reflection—not only in our
roles as physicians but as human
beings. In clinical practice, we
strive to understand our
patients, while also gaining
greater insight into ourselves
through introspection and
meaningful dialogue with our
peers.
This year’s program features a
remarkable lineup of experts
presenting the latest advances
in pharyngeal and laryngeal
cancer, laryngeal
reconstruction, nerve monitoring
and reinnervation, sleep
disorders, pediatric airway
management, swallowing and
speech therapy, and robotic
surgery. In addition, we are
pleased to offer two specialized
hands-on workshops focused on
swallowing and sleep, designed
to strengthen practical skills
and enhance clinical expertise.
Together, we aim to broaden our
perspectives and deepen our
understanding.
Thank you for your participation
and continued support. I wish
you a rewarding conference
filled with valuable insights,
fresh inspiration, and
meaningful connections.
Warm regards,
Chih-Chun Wang, MD
